★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a bareboat charter with Globesailor and Seastar Yachting of Kalamaki Greece of 2 weeks in June 2020. Due to Covid I was unable to travel. The Greek Govt decided that no holiday provider should refund deposits/payments but could postpone holidays. In the event that the holiday was not taken by the client a refund should be made 18 months after the date of the holiday. Seastar/Globesailor decided to cancel my holiday and keep the deposit.
These two companies should clearly be avoided. Currently, I consider them to be dishonest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience with SeaStar sailing was so worse, we can only recommend you continue your research and look for another charter company.
We had booked a 1-week charter with them and the night prior to our departure, they called us that the boat is damaged and no other would be available.
There we were, already in Athens and ready to start our trip and it was over before it even started!
