J	John Poulos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the fifth time we stayed at this hotel. All the previous times we stayed at the same room and was very good. This time we were put in a different room and regrettably the experience was awful. The bathroom in general was an afterthought. shower drain was dislodged, toilet cistern almost impossible to use, shower head could not be used, hand basin nor adequate (extremely small corner unit) however very good reception area and friendly staff.

Room was nice and clean, air conditioning and all. Shower was a bit small but does the job. All in all, very good place to stay in Athens.

I do recommend semeli hotel for your stay in Athens, the only thing was not happy with early check out at 11 AM even though they gave me half an hour extra , if you need late check out needs to pay 10€ more
J	J C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t know how this place is getting decent reviews. When I arrived I was given the keys to the room and was welcomed with an absolutely disgusting smell in the room. I go down and tell the reception. Only way to get a different room is to pay extra. An hour after getting to the new room I see a bed bug on the bed. I took a picture grabbed my luggage and went back down to the reception to ask for a refund. She didn’t seem to even know what a bed bug was? She wanted to give me another room, but I left. While I was asking for a refund she tried to explain that the reason the first room smelled was because the toilet was broken? On top of all this the hotel seemed to generally be falling apart/old. This place was a complete waste of time and money for me. I spent the next morning washing all my clothes and looking through my stuff. I contacted the third party booking company and they tried helping me get a refund, but they refused. I stayed at Minoa Hotel for the same price and it was a night and day difference.

D	Despina K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service and cleaning service was great! However, the room looked like it needed some maintenance. A new clean carpet is needed. Also, my plan was to come with a car, but i decided to come to Athens by train. This turned out perfect for me because the hotel advertised “having parking” but it didn’t. There was no parking on the street or near the hotel. Overall, it is close to the city…20-30 minutes walking and it is next to a police station (which i felt safe) and the hotel service completed my requests.
