★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible food! I especially loved the octopus and shrimp pasta. In fact they were soooo good I just ate the leftovers for breakfast. Friendly and quick service too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went out with a larger party and the service was great. Had the octopus with Lefkada sausage and really enjoyed it - very flavourful, a fun spin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely place with outdoor sittings too.
The food is tasty and very close to Greek traditional cuisine with a bit of a twist to bring them to a restaurant quality. The lavas, if am right is a type of bread, was exceptional. From the plating to the serving everything was too notch. The inner decoration is also very interesting and explains the name of the place. Hopefully they will keep up the good work...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the best restaurant I've been to in Greece. The qualitative difference between this restaurant's food, and the other five restaurants I tried in the area, caused me to visit this restaurant nine times in 10 days. The house white wine is amazing, it is semi-sweet, with a hint of fruitiness and complimented each dish I had.
I strongly recommend the Cretan salad called "Dakos", it is chopped tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, and oil - be sure to ask for onions to add a bit of crispness. The eggplant "saganaki" is the dish that I had to have on each visit. It's baked in a clay dish the owner designed herself, and has lots of cut eggplant chunks swimming in a tasty tomato sauce covered with mozzarella. This dish, with the melting cheese causing thick ropey strands from each spoonful, reminded me of eggplant parmesian, but without the breading.
The other menu items were all excellent, but my favorite starters, beyond those mentioned above, were the Tomato balls, the Fava Beans with fig chutney, the steamed mussels in ouzo/lemon juice, and the Buffalo beef in a dish with a fried egg.
I haven't even mentioned their main dishes yet. The best dish I had, though each were excellent on their own, was the pork knuckle. It's only served on weekends, but if you have chance order it. All meat plates I had were juicy and delicious. I plan to make this restaurant my personal mecca. And will visit it anytime I'm in the area. If you're reading this review, just go, and prepare yourself to be wowed!
