Prior our arrival the communication from the host was very good and upon arrival they met us at the port and ensured our drive to the house. Once there they introduced us in a good fashion so once again, well taken care of upon arrival, during our stay and upon departure. The house is amazing and pictures tells it as well. It is all about expectations for this locations, if you plan to live in a city and go out and party in the evenings then this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a getaway with an great beach and local surroundings then this is the place for you. Since the house is a 10-15 min drive from the port then a car is almost a must. The island has Taxi so I could imagine it would be manageable by getting a taxi to the house and when you need to go to town for groceries but it can get more tricky even though possible.
C	Camilla Calmsund on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice little house close to an amazing beach. Very clear water, the snorkelling is not good but its a good spot for teaching kids. It is safe. During our week we ate at the robust taverna at the beach, we also tried the traditional tavern on the hill (700 m walk). Both had very good food without being fancy. We liked them a lot. But we also nade food by our selves and ate it on the fantastic terrass of the cottage. I recommend this. We walked to the beach in barh gear on five minutes. Be sure to taje a shady place below the trees, it gets really hot. We recommend taking a cab rather than the hired car since the road is narrow and we are unused to the mountain roads... at lest if you want to grab a beer or two while in the harbour. G	George Papantoniou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic view from the terrace of these superb little houses! The lodgings are great, extremely well equipped and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and supportive. The ganema beach is located approximately ten minutes walking distance from the house and is definitely the best of the whole island, but don't expect to find bars and umbrellas there. Some shade is provided by trees by the seaside. The little tavern by the seaside operates only during the high season. Highly recommended!
