★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was visiting the area from abroad recently and needed help figuring out how to get into Heraklion by bus. I stopped in and asked a member of staff for help, and he was very helpful. He gave us all the information we needed and more. His English was very good, so if you don’t speak Greek, this is a good place to stop.

The employee tried to force us to put the most expensive gasoline after saying for the third time that we didn't want we asked to put 15 euros and the level didn't go up. We asked him about it and he said that we had to drive a bit. The level didn't go up, so we realized that we got scammed. We talked to the woman that was working in the shop and she said the same thing, she was called Maria by the way. So if you are a tourist run away from there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be aware of this petrol station. They filled up our 'racing machine' suzuki celerino with the way more expensive shell v power instead of normal petrol. Nobody asked, apparently because we are tourists....unfair guys and not very friendly!
