After arriving from the hustle and bustle of our quick stay at Athens coming from the US, the Island of Sifnos was a welcomed retreat and the Sifnos House was everything we hoped for and more! From the minute we arrived the owners and staff made us feel welcomed and at home. They provided valuable help, information and ideas throughout our stay (especially when we encountered travel challenges due to windy conditions). The pristine cleanliness, decor and layout of our 2 BR suite brought tears to my eyes...and I am a tough one to please in these areas! We had a lovely veranda (Galaxea room) to relax & enjoy the views as well as a back patio where they provided hanging racks for our clothes to dry...great little perk we appreciated. We had a relaxing retreat as a family in the private spa where we enjoyed the sauna and hottub; plus 2 of us had a massage and loved it! It was a great ending to a long day of hiking. The breakfasts offered flexible times, friendly service and an array of wonderful food. The location to the cute town of Kamares was perfect...high enough to have great views of the bay yet just a few minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and ferry.In addition, after visiting most of the other towns on the island, we are so glad we stayed in Kamares for many reasons. We couldn't be happier with our time on Sifnos and at this wonderful hotel! Thanks Dora and George...you created quite the gem!

Our family stayed for 4 nights at Sifnos House. It has been an amazing experience. The hotel is only a few min walking from the port , the beach and all the nice local restaurants. We can easily access everywhere with the pram. Kamares is one of the best locations in Sifnos with the combination of clear, calm beach and a good choice of restaurants for dining and a night stroll. The hotel is also very children friendly and very boutique. The staff is amazing and very helpful. George and Dora have been really friendly, accommodative and giving lots of tips on where to go for sightseeing and food. The catering staff always brought us our favourite drinks for breakfast without being asked. Highly recommend the island and the hotel. One of the best we have been.

Sifnos House is the very best hotel in the island. I have stayed in a couple of hotels in Sifnos, but this one is something special. Lovely rooms, amazing breakfast and great location. Dora & George are the best hosts and will do everything to make your experience unique! I can highly recommend this place. I am going back again next year!

Immaculate & luxurious place to stay on the beautiful island of Sifnos. Kamares port is a great base for a holiday with lots of lovely restaurants & a sandy beach with sun beds & umbrellas- all reasonably priced. Breakfast in Sifnos House is decadent! So much locally produced & presented food you will want to try everything before you roll out to explore the island! George & Dora & their staff are genuine & welcoming - nothing is too much trouble for them.

George and his team went above and beyond to make our stay at Sifnos house a most enjoyable one. The rooms are very functional, clean and quiet. All decorated with great taste by his wife Dora. The massages at the spa were divine. We decided to come back to Sifnos and stay an extra week at Sifnos house. We strongly recommend it .

George and Dora are amazing people and their great spirits are reflected in their hotel: beautiful rooms, impeccable service and staff, and great food. Staying at Sifnos House was one of the highlights of our holiday. Yes the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast delicious, but what makes this place extra special is the hospitality. George and Dora go above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing holiday and get the most out of the island. They are perfect hosts, and even left us with gifts when we departed. My family and I have been coming to Sifnos House every summer for the last four years - and I can say that with each passing year George and Dora somehow find ways to make each stay better than the last. The hospitality they provide ads an extra element to your stay like no other. Not only are the rooms gorgeous, the location incredible, and the food delicious- But to top it all off you’re treated amazingly by the best team on the island. Can’t wait for next summer!
