Είναι ο καλύτερος όμιλος της περιφέρειας με πολλές διακρίσεις από τα πρώτα χρόνια της λειτουργίας του αυτό οφείλεται ότι η στελέχωση του είναι από υψηλού επιπέδου προπονητή καί το Δ.Σ έχει χρόνια εμπειρίας. Εάν κάποιος γονέας θέλει να μάθει στο παιδί του ιστιοπλοΐα τότε είναι η καλή καλύτερη επιλογή το ίδιο ισχύει και για τους ενήλικες. Τη θάλασσα άλλωστε δεν πρέπει να την φοβόμαστε αλλά να την σεβόμαστε.
