S	Sue Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best ever car hire experience! Vagelis and Ify met us at the airport as arranged – no problem with it being a late evening flight. Having scanned paperwork across when the booking was arranged all we had to do was head to the car parked in front of the terminal building for a helpful briefing including directions to our accommodation, an explanation of roundabout priorities on the island and what to do on return. A helpful map was supplied and a list of recommended places to visit emailed to us next day. The car was clean, but maybe a less powerful than we would have liked for tackling the steep gradients and hairpin bends we travelled on – nevertheless we got to all the places we needed to for a very competitive price. It was wonderful to be met with smiles and a genuine welcome on both arrival and return – this was like greeting friends rather than a business transaction. Our previous experiences dealing with multi-national car hire companies, are of lengthy queues, and rude staff who go to great lengths add extra unwanted charges. Vagelis and Ify provide a far superior stress-free service and Paul and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The car was perfect for our requirements, in pristine condition and Vagelis was so accommodating in arranging delivery to our villa. We had no problems whatsoever with the car, or the fact that I had to change the delivery time of it due to our cancelled flight, and then the collection time at the end of the holiday - because we didn't want to leave!! Everything was simple and stress free. It was a 5 star service from beginning to end and I would have no hesitation in recommending Simotas Car Rental. I will definitely be using Vagelis for all my future car rental requirements when holidaying in Kefalonia. Thank you Vagelis and Ifi!!

Communitaction was great, very quick responses to email and even got an upgrade :) The car was at our hotel on time and Vagelis was very flexible with the drop off date, which we changed last minute! Car was excellent, no issues at all. Would recommend booking a car with decent motor though considering Kefalonia roads.

Booked on-line from the UK, excellent, and fast, communication. Vagelis met us personally at the airport, even though the flight didn't land until 9:30pm, quickly sorted the paperwork, provided a good map of Kefalonia, and a good explanation on how to get where we were going and what to look out for (which was really helpful as it was dark, and our first time on the island), and then a nice friendly chat when returning the car. Really friendly, helpful and excellent service. Can't recommend Simotas highly enough! Cheers guys!

Both were very kind and friendly, explained everything and recomended some intetesting places on Kefalonia and also suggested some local tour agencies. Booking was easy online and quickly confirmed.Vagelis met us at the airport even though we were very late and quickly took us to our (upgraded) car. All arrangements were quickly sorted and he even led us to our nearby accommodation as it was late and dark. The car was perfect for our needs and more than able to manage the steep roads of Kefalonia. Would definitely recommend and will use again when we return to this beautiful island.

He provided us a map and marked sites which are worth a visit (beaches, restaurants, ...) and also roads to avoid or routes that are faster & smoother than from navigation apps. All in all super easy going & flexible service, highly recommendable!
