Sinialo - Karaiskaki 68-70

This was a wonderful serendipitous find. Nice interior, an old town house with exposed stone and brick walls, tastefully decorated. Nice and cool inside when it's hot out. Friendly and helpful staff, that also speak English. Great food at good prices, Greek cuisine. We didn't have the time to look, but there's also a roof garden. We'll be back, this will become our go-to place when we are in Patra.

The food was delicious, and the restaurant in the rooftop protected us from a huge heatwave. We enjoyed particularly Dako salad, aubergines, favas, and gemista. Beautiful and cheap!

The place was strange. You go by a staircase to the second floor. There you can find an empty room with tables and all, but no people. Then a server comes an tells you that you have to use a lift to get to the third floor where the actual thing is. It is an open terrace with a great view of the castle. The atmosphere was nice if you like being around a lot of people, but for some of us it was a bit too cramped. Then we go with the service - a very nice and sweet server comes and gives you a notebook together with the menus. Then tells you that when you choose something you have to write it in the notebook and when you are ready just give it back to him. We gave our order and that was it. First gheh brought a bread basket that we did not order, and after that they put it on the bill. The dishes started to come one by one, until after 45-50 minutes one doesn't. We then asked our server what happened with the last dish. Then and there he told us that the dish was unavailable. We were a bit confused, but went with it, at least we ordered more than enough for all of us so there was no one left hungry. The saving grace for the dinner was the dessert. It is very sweet of them to offer free desserts to all clients and it was a very nice one. The pricing was adequate I guess, atleast for what we had in other places in town.

The food was great, the presentation was as well very nice. A couple of peculiarities here, for example you have to write down your order yourself and if you dont explicitly ask it, they dont bring even water. This unfortunately happens because of the usual patronage from college students that tend to go for the cheapest option. The waiter is not easy to be found, so better write everything down, as its difficult to find them again. The music was very good, the atmosphere relaxed and laid back and the terrace on sunny days is a must.

Amazing food and reception! I don't know who.told them I love basile, because I arrived chose my table and suddenly the manager cames with branch of fresh basile and offered me to smell. Sure I used that to perfume my water and I ate the remaining. That gesture was so kind and unexpected. I just loved it!

Such good Greek food made with love and attentive service! We just arrived in Patra and the staff gave us some great recommendations of activities. Really nice place as well on the 3rd floor rooftop terrace. Also as other reviewers mentioned there is a free dessert at the end, a sort of cut pudding with honey, which was delicious.
