The fruit and vegetables are usually good quality also and there are often special offers in the fridges and on the meat counter. It's a big store, always well stocked and very clean; far better than it was under the Carrefour banner.

The referenced Gazi store is in the Heraklion suburb. In either store they still stock many of the French dairy products they have become well known for at competitive prices.

E	Eva Guerra Heredia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ IF YOU ARE A TOURIST be aware that in this supermarket if you bring back something that you purchased even a minute ago, you will NOT have your money back, they will give you a voucher and you will have ONLY two weeks for expended, something that really shocked me as I never seen something like it in Europe! Also, be aware with the "wrong placed price items ", For the rest, it's a very good variety of goods in there.

Honestly, living in the US with our super centers I was impressed. The fish and meat department truly impressed me. Bought a couple of gifts and to my amazement there were not made in China. A place to seat and eat good food and sweets. The variety is unbelievable and friendly prices. Unlike the supermarkets in the US they had actual food not processed and tasteless. If you visit Greece make sure you shop at one of their stores.

Second- huge variety of products, including vegan and dairy free !! But now I particularly wish to note the high professionalism of management, such as attention to buyers' requests! I was looking some things I couldn't find nowhere. And at the reception I just said would be nice to found it. Woman wrote down things I was asking about and image! next time I came it was there!!!!! All things I put request!!! I am sooo happy!!! THANK YOU THAT YOU ARE!!

As much as I like 'proper' markets and small stores as a tourist, I do also enjoy seeing the range of goods on offer in a local hypermarket, and this was not a disappointment! Loads of fresh goods, including great meat fish, but the stand-out for us was the cheese counter. Loads of choice and a really knowledgeable, really helpful, really friendly member of staff being us navigate the choice (and in English!) Add to that the fact that our 50cm-long receipt only came to €72 and I'd highly recommend!
