★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greeks produce more trash than any other country in Europe...and this store explains why. We tried to use our own clean plastic bags for fruit/veg. They wouldn't permit it and made us use a plastic bag for each TYPEof fruit/veg. This is ridiculous and explains why there is trash and plastic bags thrown all over the city and particularly the beaches. Go to Lidle just a few min away ( they have a much better selection anyway) They encourage you to use your own bags. Enviorenmental issues are important because we will be soon suffering the consequences in near future even MORE than we are already are. Thanks for doing your part and not supporting this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best supermarkets in the town. It has a great selection of fresh and packaged food and a good bakery. Regarding the plastic bags that some negative reviews refer to, we asked for no bags and that was ok. Fruit can be put into paper bags that are available in the supermarket. So the plastic bag situation sounds more like fake news to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the first supermarket we have been to in Greece, so can't tell how the prices here compare with other supermarkets. The layout is neat and tidy, we personally find the prices reasonable. This supermarket is conveniently located for us staying in the Nafplio old town. Stacey was very helpful too, we were having trouble communicating with the cheese-master how much cheese we wanted, and she came to our rescue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't go here. Go to Lidil down the street. They require you to use a new plastic bag for every new fruit or vegetable you buy. We even brought our own bags and they wouldn't let us use our own bags to save plastic and help the environment. Stupid business too, if they let customers use their own bags the business would save money on having to purchase new bags. This is why Greece has a environmental problem with plastic bags polluting the water and making their beaches especially in Nafplio look trashy. The beaches around Nafplio look almost as polluted and trashy as beaches in Africa and Morocco. If they care about tourism Nafplio and Greece would address this.
