★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le tarif (50€ là journée ou plutôt une demi journée pour notre cas) est exorbitant pour la qualité de la voiture (fiat panda loin d’etre jeune) ... et le personnel pas du tout arrangeant. Je ne recommande pas !
The price (50 € day or half a day for our case) is exorbitant for the quality of the car (fiat panda far from young) ... and the staff not at all accommodating. I do not recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Car was ok but we got it with low level of petrol (2 points). They told us that we need to give it back with the same level! Unfortunately we had to be back ealier then we planned. At the reception they told us that they don't refund extra level of petrol:(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Danger - do not hire a car from Smart- dumb and dangerous is more like it. We did and it nearly killed us. Smart lied to us: we were shown and promised a nearly new car which we then saw another customer driving away 10 minutes later. On arrival to pick up our car, we were hired a very old C1 micro car with the following faults: broken clutch, broken rear view mirror, three missing hub caps, air con fixed on with an aspirin packet jammed in the switch and dents and scratches all round. It didn't even have a hire car badge on the plate like most of the other hire cars we saw. We spent the day with our hearts in our mouths every time we had to pull away from a standing start and we barely made it up hill climbs: you need to make lots of these on the hilly terrain and blind hairpin bends of Corfu. When we returned the car, SMART admitted the car was faulty but the only apology they offered was to say 'these things happen'. 50 Euros for one day's hire, the worst car I have driven in forty years on the road and the most dangerous. We won't hire from Smart again and we suggest you make Corfu's roads safer for all drivers by not doing so either.
