★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a truly amazing stay at Socrates. Both our kids (3&6) loved it and cannot wait time return. Quiet, relaxing stay in nature. Long walks up the mountain, kids playing around in nature all day!! Mrs Voula and her husband are superb hosts, very welcome and tested us like family!! A place made with love!!!

The place, the people, the mindset, the area, the food, the history!!!
It is the perfect retreat to unwind in tune with nature. Ideally located, both close to the hustle & bustle of Messolonghi and at the same time far enough to enjoy the serene landscape and blissful silence.
We loved the stay in and enjoyed the sun by the pool and the environs.
We loved the cozy & spacious bungalow and our heartwarming hosts. We felt right at home.
Next time we'll definitely stay longer & try some of the things to do near by (kite-surfing, kayaking, sailing, paragliding, rivertrekking, horse riding are available amongst many many others).
Thank you Socrates for our stay & we'll hopefully see you again soon!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we stayed one night and the facility is well kept and clean. lovely place. only one note I have to do. The dog a beautiful black labrador is held in chain. in Italy keeping a dog in a chain is a crime. I ask that at least a recitò be built for him where he can stand freely without being forced to the chain. I hope that this review of mine will be read and in case it can be used to ensure that a fence is built for him also because the Labrador is not a guard dog but a companion and rescue dog. Thank you
