Sofia Apartments - Sofia Apartments

We were well welcomed and the apartment was clean and quite. Nafplio is not far from there, only 25min by car.

Positive: Nice, airy apartment, clean and not crowded beach across the street, quiet surroundings and helpful host.

Clean, descent rooms with kitchen and air conditioning. Very peaceful and barely 50 meters from the beach. Good prices.

Positive: The apartment was bigger than booked. The host upgraded us at no extra cost. Negative: Kitchen was a little cramped.

Positive: 1. The location of Sofia Apartments is perfect—sometimes, you feel like in the control tower of Kandia, so central it is. A bakery with tasty pies, bread and drinks is just 50 m away. There are two tavernas and a mini-market 5 minutes walk away. The beach is about 100 m away. It is mostly empty. 2. Sofia, the host, was very helpful in giving local advice. 3. There is a lot of space for parking on the lot (however, it is shared by two apartment establishments—Sofia on the 2nd floor (level 3) and another one on the 1st floor.. Negative: The only issue worth mentioning is that the beds are quite narrow, a bit too firm and squeaky, although they look new..

Positive: This is a very well situated property, in close proximity to a nice beach, in a peaceful setting. Sofia has proven to be a great lady and an excellent host. My family and I felt very welcomed.. Negative: Lack of mosquito nets.....

Very friendly and helpful host. Clean and spacious apartment, two terraces with nice views, one for mountains and one for the sea. The beach was so near, really just across the street. Additionally, this beach was very calm and not crowded in the middle of July!

Positive: The room was at base floor with a cute little garden in front. In front of room door at the garden there was a table to have your breakfast as well a hunger to put your wet clothes to dry out. Everything was very clean, including the room, the bed sheet, towels , kitchen appliances and the bathroom. The room had an aircondition, though a bit noisy, but at low speed setting was ok to sleep with. Each bed had to soft pillows so you could adjust height according to your needs. A much needed bottle of water was offered as well as rubbing alchohol for Covid. Remote controls were in one use per customer plastic bags for safety too. Hotel is situated 50 meters from the beach and has parking space. Kantia beach is a 2klm sandy beach and there also some shady trees if you get there early enough. THere are many beach bar/cafes but there is plenty of space to place your own ombrela if you want. There is a bakery and a mini market very near to the hotel so you can get everything needed your breakfast. Two nice fish taverns are also close to the hotel. The one closest "Grigoris" had big tasty portions and very good prices. Finnaly the owner Mrs Sofia was very polite and helpful.. Negative: The only dissonance in was in any other aspect a very pleasant experience was that the ceiling fan was not well mounted and was making too much noise. It was a pity since it would be more pleasant to use for a good night sleep than using the air condition unit..
