★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good bakery at the port of the Sami. Open from early in the morning with tasty bakery and milk products, as well as juices, sweets and coffees. The casual outdoor seating next to the port is a very nice spot for breakfast, takeway is also an option. It is an inexpensive one, the service is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The prices in a bill are much higher than the prices in a menu (about +25%). They told me it is because the menu contains prices for take away only. They couldn't explain why two waffles with the same price 6.50 in the menu have different costs 7.70 and 8.10 in the bill.
The cafe itself looks good.
The waffles are too suggared. It is impossible to eat without big black coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pastries are good, but not the best. The savory pies are big, you may want to share one if you are not too hungry. The coffee is good. The ice cream is very good, specially the one with yogurt, honey and walnuts. The toilet is clean. The location and the view are nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty decent food. For once a good baklava and Turkish coffee BUT horrible service. Actually there wasn’t any service. One person only was serving everyone and, most often, she was in the bakery so it made it impossible to place an order let alone get what you ordered. Asked for a coffee and had to leave without getting it as it never came.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved this bakery and now on our second visit to Kefalonia this is our favourite bakery for bread, ice-creams and cakes. It is right along the front so if you come for an ice-cream you can sit outside watching the world go by (which is lovely at the end of the day).
Ice-cream – this was our favourite place for ice-cream in the north of the island we came here 5 times for ice-creams during our stay. We sampled the cones and medium tubs. We tried Yogurt with honey and nuts, dark chocolate with orange, special chocolate (which was dark chocolate with dried fruit), pomegranate sorbet (my favourite sorbet), strawberry sorbet, vanilla. They were all delicious and generous portions.
Bread- always lovely fresh bread, and rolls which we bought daily
Cakes and biscuits – we had various biscuits which were fresh and super-delicious without being over-sweet and our favourite were their protein health bars which were full of dates, nuts, seeds, some cocoa and not too sweet. These were super-delicious. My husband also tried their apple pie which was lovely (pastry a little thick but otherwise great).
Staff are friendly and helpful.
