★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ενδιαφέρουσα τοποθεσία,προσοχή στην αναβαση-καταβαση των τελευταίων 40μετρων.Ευτυχως υπάρχει σκοινί για ασφάλεια.
Interesting location, attention to the ascent-descent of the last 40 meters. Fortunately there is a rope for safety.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μια εκπληκτική τοποθεσία, όπου μπορείς να θαυμάσεις την πανοραμική θέα της Αθήνας! Η πρόσβαση δεν είναι εύκολη, και το μονοπάτι που οδηγεί στη σπηλιά, δε φαίνεται καλά από τον δρόμο.
An amazing location, where you can admire the panoramic view of Athens! Access is not easy, and the path leading to the cave is not well visible from the road.

The paintings really spoil the place otherwise it is very nice close to the city easy access as long as the shoes do not slip ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η σπηλιά είναι μόνο η αφορμή για μια ωραία βόλτα σε αυτό το σημείο του Υμηττού. Το τελευταίο κομμάτι της ανάβασης προς τη διπλή σπηλιά,είναι το μόνο με ένα μικρό βαθμό δυσκολίας,που ξεπερνιέται με την ύπαρξη ενός σκοινιού για τα πρώτα μέτρα. Ακόμα και παιδιά ανεβαίνουν με λίγη προσοχή, ιδιαίτερα όμως στην κατάβαση.
Οι δύο σπηλιές με μικρό σχετικά βάθος,έχουν όλα τα σημάδια της επίσκεψης του ασεβή νεοέλληνα. Tags και μουτζούρες πάνω στα βράχια,σκουπίδια και ακαθαρσίες στο εσωτερικό. Να κάνεις τόση διαδρομή για να αφήσεις απλώς το βρώμικο αποτύπωμα σου στους επόμενους επισκέπτες.
Αξίζει πάντως η θέα και η διαδρομή.
The cave is just the occasion for a nice walk in this part of Hymettus. The last part of the ascent to the double cave, is the only one with a small degree of difficulty, which is overcome by the existence of a rope for the first steps. Even children climb with a little care, but especially on the descent.
The two caves with relatively small depth, have all the signs of the visit of the ungodly modern Greek. Tags and smudges on the rocks, rubbish and dirt inside. Doing so much to just leave your dirty footprint to the next visitors.
However, the view and the route are worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cave is located at an altitude of 550meters and consists of two chambers, dimensions 18x5 and 12x5 with heights of 3-5 metres respectively. Signs of a campfire are apparent, as well as the various graffiti which undermine the beauty of the place.
To access the place you have to climb the first 5 meters using the rope, which is permanently in place. The rest distance is of medium difficulty, which small kids might find impossible. The descent from the cave needs attention, since rocks are easily displaced, making it dangerous and demanding.
Even though the cave has been vandalised and the ascent/descent is not so easy, i do recommend visiting the place, since it offers a great experience of hiking and exploration!
