We got lost and stumbled across this beautiful rock formation on the south side of the main hill! It's a very beautiful formation created from thousands of years of calcium deposits slowly dripping to create the wall. On top of the wall (fastest way up is a trail on the west side of the hill, trails can be hard to traverse as the rain washes them out) you can see very old man-made pools and terraces that used to hold the water before it trickled down the side of the rock face. Really lovely area we were happy to have stumbled on. There are several permanent climbing holds anchored into the rock, which I think is a shame as you can see where climbers have accidentally torn out/destroyed the natural rock :( imo it needs to be preserved. I also tried to research why and when the springs stopped flowing but couldn't find any information online (in English). If anyone has some history on it please share!
