Mercy !! Outside the village polydrosos It is worth a walk to feel so calm, peaceful and beautiful in nature .. With running water, plane trees, a bridge over the river .. you think that fairies still live there .. a place that must be visited by anyone in the surrounding area
G	Georgios Meintanis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Λίγο έξω από το χωριό Πολύδροσος, ευρίσκονται οι πηγές του Βοιωτικού Κηφισού ,σε ένα ονειρεμένο πλάτανο δάσος με τρεχούμενα νερά και ακριβώς από πάνω ,μπορεί ,να δει τα απομεινάρια/ερείπια του παλιού ναού του Απόλλωνα. Σε ανασκαφές που έγιναν το 1908 βρέθηκε αγαλματίδιο. Πριν φθάσει κανείς στις πηγές ,σε μια πανέμορφη τοποθεσία, μπορεί να δει κάποιος τα ερείπια του βυζαντινού ναού της Παναγίας της Μαυρομαντήλας η Αγίας Ελεούσας. Ευρίσκεται στους βόρειους πρόποδες του Παρνασσού σε υψόμετρο 380 μέτρων. Just outside the village of Polydrosos, are the springs of Boeotian Kifissos, in a dreamy plane tree forest with running water and just above, you can see the remains / ruins of the old temple of Apollo. A statuette was found in excavations in 1908. Before reaching the springs, in a beautiful location, one can see the ruins of the Byzantine church of Panagia Mavromandila or Agia Eleousa. It is located at the northern foot of Mount Parnassos at an altitude of 380 meters.

Αρχικά στην μέση του πουθενά βρίσκονται τα χαλάσματα από τον πρωτοβυζαντινό ναό (με κάθε επιφύλαξη)της Παναγιάς Ελεούσας τα οποία από μόνα τους είναι εντυπωσιακά, κάνοντας ένα τσακ πιο κάτω είναι αυτές οι μαγικές πηγές που το νερό αναβλύζει μέσα από την βάση του Παρνασσού και συνεχίζει ως ποταμάκι! Initially in the middle of nowhere are the ruins of the early Byzantine church (with every reservation) of Panagia Eleousa which in themselves are impressive, making a chuck below are these magical springs that the water gushes from the base of Parnassos and continues as a small river!
