Androutsos was a commander and brave warrior, one of the leaders of the war of independence.
He was executed by the Greek government under tragic circumstances in 1825 when he was only 37 years old. The recognition of his enormous contribution to the war came years after his death. A brave hero who sacrificed his life for the independence of the Greek nation.
