Πρόκειται για μια μεγάλη και όμορφη Εκκλησία, καλοσυντηρημένη και σε συνδυασμό με την ομώνυμη Πλατεία όπου μαζεύονται εκεί πλήθος παιδιών, αποτελεί μέρος συνάντησης και ένα από τα βασικά landmarks των Κ. Πετραλώνων. As a Church, St. Catherine is one of the relatively Oldest in Athens. This is a large and beautiful Church, well maintained and in combination with the homonymous Square where many children gather, is a meeting place and one of the main landmarks of K. Petralona.

Eine Besichtigung der Kirche ist in angemessener Kleidung außerhalb der Gottesdienstzeiten möglich. St. Catherine's Church (Agia Aikaterini) is a small church with a wonderful interior with numerous icons. The church is surrounded by a beautiful garden with excavations of Greek ruins. Visiting the church in appropriate clothing is possible outside of church hours.
