St.George's Bay Country Club & Spa - St.George's Bay

We went on vacation for a week in Sept 2021 and booked overnight stays with breakfast. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful (special praise to Maria and the colleagues at the bar). The garden is a dream and the complex is very well maintained. The pool with a counter current system and the spa with the saunas are highly recommended. We thought it was a shame that there were hardly any appointments for certain massages, as there was obviously not enough staff. The room allocated to us was without a booked sea view and after a short consultation with the reception we had a room on the 1st floor with a fantastic view. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. We found the smoke from the smokers unpleasant. Here we would like to see a smoke-free area or simply do away with smoking during breakfast. We also found the high lunch prices unpleasant, which are about 100% higher than those in the surrounding taverns. Tip: There are countless excellent restaurants in town. Except for the things described, we felt very comfortable. Good: We were able to hand in the key for the rental car at the reception without any red tape and the car was picked up.

Somewhat snobby but otherwise perfect. The Ivi Spa is great and the 25 meter pool is a dream. Breakfast is great and the staff is super nice. The beds were very good and generally our superior suite was very spacious. We didn't have a sea view but a good shower and a nice terrace. Because of the spa area, I can highly recommend the facility, especially in the off-season. The beach is ideal here and the location to the village makes it ideal for dinner in various taverns or even in a pizzeria.
