Και τρώνε ένα κουλούρι στα γρήγορα και πάνε να βγάλουν εισιτήριο και τους πέφτουν τα κέρματα και δεν χτυπούν σωστά το εισιτήριο και ίσα που προφταίνουν το τραίνο. Και βάζουν τα χέρια και τα πόδια στην πόρτα να μην κλείσει και σπρώχνουν και φωνάζουν και ιδρώνουν για να προλάβουν να μπουν στο τραίνο. Και αν τα καταφέρουν και μπουν χαίρονται και αν μείνουν απ’ έξω είναι κατηφής. Όταν μπουν στο τραίνο, όταν η πόρτα κλείσει και ο κρότος της ακουστεί, τότε οι άνθρωποι γίνονται άκαμπτοι. Αυτοί που έκαναν τόσο κόπο για να τα καταφέρουν, τώρα είναι σαν να ξέχασαν την ψυχή τους στην πόρτα. Αν κοιτάξεις κάποιον στα μάτια μέσα στο τραίνο, δεν βλέπεις τίποτα. Έχουν όλοι ένα κενό βλέμμα.
