The place look a bit awful but it definitely plays its role. No queues, it's easy to buy tickets, departures are on time, place for coffee is fine, the place is well connected with the airport (~50 mins) - direct bus (X93).

Getting to the location is always a chore as there is no direct access via the subway. To use the city Oasa bus to get there requires you to walk 500 meters from the nearest metro station at Omonoia square passing traffic and the heavy pedestrian encounters. The bus to get there is usually full and without space for luggage and you have to be blocking the corridors as you would have to guard your belongings and literally be on top of them. The alternative method of using a taxi is somewhat costly and it is recommended to get as near to the location as possible to minimize both the hustle and the taxi fair. Moreover Greek taxis in general do not offer high standard service but this has started to change in the last decade. The location is always looking abandoned and dirty but maybe this is to be expected from a place that houses vehicles, I would not know. The worst part of the location experience is that while you will have to be vigilant guarding your belongings you will be constantly hustled by the local army of noncence moving vendors, counterfeit sellers or a generally organised assortment of professional beggars or derelict looking fake nuns. Coffee there is mediocre at best, I have tried at least three of the vendors. I havent throws on site foods as I don't like cooked meals just before travelling. Lastly the on site mini markets offer many travelling oriented snacks and more but they are pricey in contrast with Greek supermarkets or other minimarkets in the general area. Ps. I am glad the location will be moved sometime in the foreseeable future to a new modern station with direct access to the Subway

there is no reason here to have so bad comments and reviews. enough clean and safe. rest room is downstairs, behind of the food court, it is tip system though you don't have to carry down your baggage downstairs since there is a woman who takes care about it. from Omonia area you can take taxi with cost around 6 euro. there is another KTEL in Athens for different direction. make sure in advance which one to go.

The station is fine, has everything you need. The bus was on time. Prices in the cafeteria were decent, coffee was good. Ticket staff were a little gruff, but it was not a big deal. Not sure what people are complaining about. It's not fancy or upscale, it's a bus station - what do you expect? If you want luxury, rent a limo.

It's old, delapidated, and confronting at first contact. BUT, in true Greek style, it works! It has a strange charm about it, the people are friendly and there are several cheap air conditioned eateries and cafes to relax in while waiting for your bus. There is a workable wifi, strongest inside the ticket office to Skype, email, etc ... The toilets are clean but run down. The lady at the entrance will hand you some toilet paper (really!) with a smile, and look after your suitcase if you like (give her a small tip). The good news is that they are building a new ultramodern bus terminal to replace it. Take a deep breath, it's safe despite appearances, and take a walk back in time. I will miss it's uniqueness and the memories, but not much else.

This is the BUS STOP next to the Regional Buses Station of Kifisos. Not the station itself. The station is South from here. It's perhaps the Westernmost stop of the whole Municipality of Athens.

Dirty dangerous place. Bus to Delphi from Terminal B (2km away)

Drivers not speaking in english and no info about traveling. You need to know about travel from other passengers because driver just say i dont speak in english... and i do not feel safe in station...
