Excellent food, good value for money and a very friendly host. As ever portions were extremely generous. The cheese pies were delicious and the grilled pork was huge! We were the only people there which was a shame!

Very nice and authentic greek restaurant. Delicious food and good service. I especially recommend the filled zucchini flowers. If you are on Tinos Island it is definitley worth a visit.

My wife and I ate lunch here on our honeymoon today, following a recommendation from the hire car company. We’ve been in Greece one week having first been to Santorini and now for several days on Tinos. We have eaten out every day and have not spared a penny in doing so and this taverna was, by far, the best place we have eaten! We ate a green salad with tomatoes, figs and artichoke and it was out of this world. We also shared a grilled halloumi with honey dish and the mushrooms cooked in white wine and lemon and all of these dishes were divine. The service by the chap who owns this restaurant as well as his young daughter was excellent and offered with such grace and humility. Eating here created memories that will never be forgotten. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Tinos as a must go to.

Nikos and Katerina are the couple who run this haven in Ayeto Folia village. It’s the start of the season and still quiet so we were the only people there when we arrived at this colourful and vibrant hidden gem up the slope into the village. Things went from great to amazing pretty quickly. Dry Tinian rosé was quickly complimenting a beetroot, walnut, apple and caper salad. Fried cheese pies in fine pastry covered in sesame seeds and honey were ridiculously scrumptious. Baked feta and vegetables came next with mushrooms in white wine and lemon. We’re not meat eaters but given the locally sourced everything I was certainly tempted for the first time in ages. Wow. We ended up talking with them and meeting their uncle, raising a toast to the gods with Raki and home made halva on the house. New friends and forever memories :)

Wonderful meal. Thank you. This modest looking taverna is in the middle of a whitewashed hillside village blooming with bougainvillea and fruit trees. But the reason to go is the incredible chef making brilliant use of the herbs and vegetables from his organic garden. Well worth the long windy drive to get there. Highly recommended.

A family taverna with amazing food. Most of their products are grown in their garden or on the island. A surprising upgrade to home cooked meals. Worth a detour!
