Stamatis Tavern - Κυκλάδων Ανδρος

First of all, tavern is very clean and the atmosphere is so pleasant. Service (stuff ) is really nice, helpful and kind. And food- quality home made dishes. I loved the spinach pie.. Pantasia salad and aubergine dish called - Imam. We didnt wait long for food to be served, it arrived right on time.

Below average quality. The onion in boiugiourdi was uncooked and unnecessary. No presence of olive oil anywhere. Unseasoned fava and sardines. Tsipouro was good.

Excellent view, environment amd service. Food wise, nothing special. Mostly dishes for tourists but it would not stand up to the standards with Greeks

The restaurant is very nice, we ate grilled sardines which were really great, peppers and stuffed tomatoes which was very tasty and moussaka which was fine. Overall a pleasant experience, maybe next time we will focus more on fish and seafood.??? Update? In short - an unpleasant atmosphere, a long wait for food and a smoking staff inside the restaurant. The day before we had enjoyed the same restaurant (it was almost empty then) and decided to go back for dinner. When we entered the hostess (who is probably also in charge / owner) was not welcoming. We waited 10 minutes until they took the order, we ordered 3 main courses and one main, the restaurant has a mess and the staff can barely keep up, the manager really shouted and got angry at the waiters and the kitchen really made an unpleasant sense, the waiters tried very hard. But it did not help. The first courses took almost half an hour and the main course (fish soup) took almost 40 minutes! Although it was reasonable, it really could not be considered as a main course and did not justify the wait. The thing that really ruined our experience is that the manager sat down in the middle of the restaurant and smoked next to the rest of the customers. The waiter was nice and offered us dessert at the expense of the house but we no longer had the urge to stay. Reasonable food but overall experience is really bad.

What a lovely place, with lovely staff! Great food, and a good selection of chilled wines. We enjoyed several dinners in this friendly place.

Good prices, nice touristy place with cozy atmosphere. Staff seemed a bit upset to be there. Food was nice, but garnishes a bit minimal; chicken souvlaki was perfectly grilled (except for the last raw piece) came with fries only, moussaka could do with a bit more flavour. All in all not too bad, would recommended if you're looking for an easy meal.

Excellent, traditional Greek food. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. When I joked about the Covid19 hand disinfectant having a unpleasant odour, we were pointed to another bottle, apparently home made. Much nicer, with a twist of lemon. Actually a four ? place, but that bit of humour deserves a fifth ?.
