★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved everything about this place. I seriously consider coming back to Crete and staying around Taverna Stefania the entire time, because the rest of this island is just so freaking tacky, but also because its such a nice, relaxed, beautiful, welcoming beach. And the fish were the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a simple, family-run restaurant with homemade food and fresh grilled fish. Very good food, good price. The best moussaka in Crete. Quiet terrace by the sea, reached by a small road by the sea with good landscapes.

Here is very hospitality, peaceful, VERY TASTY, sincere, so kind and nice owners and a beautiful clean warm sea. Family taverna Stefania is our highly recommended to visit! One of the best beaches on Crete as a bonus. If you would like to find authentic and typical Crete it’s here.
