Good food for all tastes. The lamb is good. You have to try it. The staff moves fast and is very helpful. Be careful, there are many wasps.

The best tavern in Thassos with lamb and goat. We come every year and we have never been disappointed. The meat is AMAZING. Everyone is smiling! Portions are literally huge and good price! Highly recommended!

Excellent lunch here. The goat on a spit was delicious, and we enjoyed it all. There are wasps but the staff will try to help if they become too much of a nuisance, was fine for us though to be honest. Beautiful setting in the garden.

The location is OK! Staff ?! hmmm... So-so! Food?! The lowest quality I ever had on the island. The Greek salad ?! OK- ish. Chicken souvlaki made with frozen rice with green peas, small pieces of carrots, corn and green beans along with french fries.... Everything was very dry... No tzatziki, no salad... no nothing... Desert?! Semolina pudding with cinnamon which it was ok!

Taverna Stelios This is "All about meat place". Tremendous. Excelent greek restaurant which is not what you have met on the coast. Well, lets go step by step. The village where it is located is called Theologos, Thassos Island. It is a nice village in the mountains of Thassos. I found the village as place wih lots off mini stores selling hand made souvenirs. There are also galeries of local artists. But lets get back to the Stelios taverna. If you are bored from sea food and having a meat is a must, you have to head to this taverna. The meat is mostly lamb ang goat. Roasted. Very tenderous, very tasty. The amount of food for the money given is more than enought. Prices are lower than the one on the restaurant located near the shore of the island. Service is ok. The waiters are not very kind because they are trying to take the order as quick as possible and bring the food quickly. Also restaurant was very crowded when we were, so the quickest the service was the better. At the time we were there was not a live music which was good for me. Please be aware that car must be parked on the village stadium, on your right side after you enter the village. The walk which have to be done afterwards is 5-10 min. Parking is free of charge. No worries. We had a great time at this taverna. In my opinion there was not sea food, but no one asks for sea food at Stelios taverna.

Good food, but not the best out there. They had a problem with the wasps when we ate, but that wasn't necessarily something they could control. The staff was nice and helped us with the wasp situation. They have to work a little for the dessert. The one we ate wasn't that good. But the location is super nice, very good when you want to eat and take cover from a hot summer day in Theologos. I am recommending the orange juice. ? ?

This place is amazing. We were recommended the "Goat on the spit" and wow... it was next level. Starting from the appetizers, and then the aforementioned main dish, along with the drinks, it was great. The service was nice and quick. The prices were pretty normal, or even cheap compared to other towns. I definitely recommend not just the place, but the dish too, just remember that the 500 grams portion is for two people ?.

Amazing food! 5 of us paid the bill 79 euros. Which was nothing for the amount and the flavor we got! The owner is very hospitable. Don't miss the lamb as well as their homemade red wine.
