M	Magdalena Photos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Essen als wäre man Gast im „Wohnzimmer“ einer Griechin. Es gibt keine offizielle Karte sondern mehrere tagesessen die uns die herzliche Dame aufzählte. Es war wirklich eine neue Erfahrung aber wir denken so gerne zurück ? Eat as if you were a guest in the “living room” of a Greek woman. There is no official card but several daily meals that the warm lady listed for us. It was really a new experience but we love to think back ?

La signora che gestisce il ristorante cucina di persona dei buonissimi piatti fatti in casa inoltre è gentilissima e super economica. Il menù è a voce in quanto i piatti cambiano di volta in volta, i tempi di attesa sono bassi per essere una cucina espressa, il posto è molto carino, ha una serie di tavoli esterni, credo una dozzina. Ci è stato offerto un piattino di antipasto e un buonissimo dolcetto finale! Ci siamo tornati anche la sera del giorno dopo! Ah d'inverno la proprietaria ci ha fatto vedere che ha all'interno due salette eleganti in stile anni 50, molto carine! Consigliatissimo se volete fuggire per un po' dal caos e dai costosi menù turistici!! A wonderful hidden gem where to find tranquillity and good homemade cuisine. Ask to the kindly owner the daily menu and relax eating cretan dishes in a quite little garden. In the winter they have two inside rooms in an elegant 50's style. Good food, cordiality, a quite place and a cheap price, all near the center of Ierapetra. I suggest to visit it! Randomly found this restaurant that from the outside may seem like a simple house. Instead it is a little gem of tranquility and good food. The lady who runs the restaurant kitchen for yourself the delicious homemade dishes are also very kind and super economical. The menu is in voice since the dishes change from time to time, waiting times are low to be an express kitchen, the place is very nice, it has a series of outdoor tables, I think a dozen. We were offered a small plate of appetizer and a delicious final dessert! We returned again the evening of the day after! Ah winter the owner showed us that within two elegant dining rooms in 50's style, very nice! Highly recommended if you want to escape from the chaos and expensive tourist menus for a while !! No es un restaurante corriente, es una casa donde te cocinan cosas deliciosas. Os dejo unas fotos para que lo podáis comprobar con vuestros propios ojos. Toda la comida una auténtica pasada.

Her laugh will cheer you up in her cosy garden of lime and orange trees. Under the shades in summer, you will feel the heart-warming soul of house-made food. All are prepared and cooked with a lot of love and some touch of compassion to mother nature. Come with curiosity and you'll leave with a belly full of traditional Greek specialties. This is not a restaurant. This is much more than that. This is home.

There is no menu because she cooks according to the season, which means that the dishes can often vary. She also uses very good products and you can taste it. Her dolmades are to die for, with a lot of flavors and textures. I also tried the shrimp pasta and the rabbit with fried potatoes and both were excellent. For dessert, a very tasty Greek yogurt with delicious glikokoutalis. The portions are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. I urge you to give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
