★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful gem outside of Trikala! Yet, it’s hard to reach it if you don’t have directions from a local. The GPS shows the location for the top of the bridge…. Magical place for photos in the nature?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The arch bridge waterfall of Paleokaria is an amazingly beautiful site!
This remarkable bridge with its two artificial waterfalls was erected at the 16th century.
It is a 26 m long stone bridge. The waterfall behind the bridge is 12 meters high and the falling water creates a beautiful awe-inspiring image.
The road that lead the site is in a very bad condition, but it is definitely worth a visit!
If you arrived till here, don't miss a visit in the wonderful Byzantine church of Porta-Panagia (7 km east), and
the stone bridge Pyli Trikala (6.5 km east).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is just magical. Here you will find a picturesque waterfall, cascading over two cliffs into a turquoise colored pond surrounded by lush greenery. A steep old stone bridge between the two waterfalls makes this place unbelievably beautiful. The trees around it are very old and lush, adding to this picture-perfect setting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ [visited in July 2021] Beautiful stone arch bridge built between two waterfalls in an area very rich in vegetation. Easily accessible by car. The water is not too warm, but when we were there a whole class of school kids was taking turns at jumping in next to the right foot of the bridge. So not just a very beautiful place, but also a potentially fun one.
