★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Japanese Konro grill needed a special “Greek” touch—a native stone to protect the wood top of the grill cart from heat. I sent an email to Stonetech on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised to receive a prompt response (on Monday morning at 7:30!).
The “Ioannina Special” from Stonetech’s Greek Marble Collection looked great. However, the mitred edging I needed required shipping the piece to their factory in Crete, then back to Athens. All was managed expertly by Stonetech’s sales team, and at a very reasonable price. I agreed to pick the marble top up at the shipping depot in Athens, but then was pleasantly surprised when the sales director brought the piece to our residence and carried it up to the balcony.
Stonetech’s workmanship was superb and the marble piece selected had a really nice grain pattern. I highly recommend Stonetech. It is not often you see such good service. I must also say that the souvlaki definitely tastes better now with the marble top under the grill! Really!
