Excellent greek Taverna family run. One of the best in the island. House meat, tasty greek food, nice people. Prices very honest. Higly recomended.

Amazing place. Grill plates of great taste! Recommend it if you are in the area. Suggest to taste the sheep fillet and the souvlaki (either pork or chicken)

Excellent service and food. This is a long review but you will be able to understand the great service we experienced! Highly recommended!! We were in Sami and had seen good reviews about this restaurant on tripadvisor and decided to go here for dinner. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told that there were no available seats as the restaurant was fully booked. We then walked up to the grill restaurant down the road and after experiencing terrible customer service there we left and came back to the restaurant to see if any tables had become available. We explain to the waitress about what had happened and although no tables had become available, she offered us takeaway and when we said no to take away she then offered us some drinks. As we were in the area again on Sunday we decided to try and get a table which we did and we are very glad that we did. We arrived at 6:15 p.m. and were met by a lady who spoke very little English but we managed to communicate with her via Google Translate. After about 10 minutes another guest came to us and explained that the lady is waiting for the owners of the restaurant to arrive, but because she doesn't speak English she had asked him to see if we wanted any drinks, In order to make sure we were being looked after. After another couple of minutes the owners arrived and came straight to our table to take our order. The food arrived quickly and it was so delicious especially the chicken souvlaki and the courgette balls. The presentation was nothing less than amazing. On our way out, the owner/waitresses were very kind and the whole experience was great.

If you like eating meat this is the place to visit. Not only are the portions generous but they also taste great. Products are all local and the owner (Thomas) and the personnel (his family) are super friendly and nice to the customers. It is an understatement saying that this tavern has redefined what a "meat tavern" should be like. I would revisit Kefalonia just in order to eat here!!! Lastly - prices are really good.

Great original food and proper portions. A must amongst locals.

One of the best restaurants we've visited so far. The grilled veal was superior, and so were the grilled vegetables. If you're in the area, treat yourself to a visit here!

Called in for tea tonight, 3 of is, veal souvlaki was absolutely amazing, the desserts were fantastic he made. Fantastic place will be calling again.

Great dinner, really good service and delicious food. We tried the grilled goat and lamb. Nice atmosphere and nice people. Thank you! Looking forward to coming back
