Vegetables are mostly from local producers, whereas fruits are sold by traders

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The street market in nea makri isn't particularly cheaper than just going to the grocery store where a lot of produce is concerned, but it does have some fun constant stands (like the food truck with the souvlakia or the flower stand), and it's great for cheap non-edible products which do hold up. It's not my favourite place to be, I'm not a fan of the constant shouting and bustling around, but it does the job.
