Would have given no stars if possible! Was told to put our names on a "reserve list" as all seats for MM2 were sold in advance but there would be a chance of seats if we were on the "reserve list" for that night and to turn up early. Queued at the desk only to be told that no chance of a ticket as they hadn't started to work through the reserve list as everyone had showed up abd in fact we were on a list for the night we departed. My wife then noticed that they let a Greek couple behind us pay to get in so obvious that priority given to "locals". PLEASE DON'T OFFER HOPE WHERE THERE IS NONE! Please don't hold out any hope at all if put on the reserve list. Hate writing negative reviews (please see my others) but very disappointed tonight!

Fabulous evening.. seemed very serreal sitting in our seats with chilled bottle of wine (everyone had an Ice bucket) very impressive.waiting for MamaMia to come on.. omg what an Evening we had dancing singing and watching the fab movie which was made in the area of Skiathos & Skipolois. Best €12 euros worth of entertainment.. has left me with a,whole new feeling about the film. Well worth a visit. Yes men were there but think the bar was a great attraction for them.. or though several were budding Piers Brosnon's very funny to see.

Has no roof on the cinema as it caved in years ago due to snow we were told!! Lovely experience. Chairs with tables in between. Bar inside with popcorn etc, and they supplied lovely fleece blankets if you were cold.

Open-Air Movie Theatre Of course everyone visiting Skiathos comes for the typical island fun: warm sunny weather, lush green vegetation, beautiful sandy beaches with crystal clear blue water, boat rides, its wonderfully laid back and friendly locals, and great food. And yet the island offers at least one more fun thing to do: go to the movies! In the middle of the village main street, you will find the inconspicuous entrance to an open-air theatre. Once you have your tickets and walk up the incline, you will find your self in a very large, walled space filled with rows of chairs facing a huge screen. There are remnants of the old roof and the broken beams no one feels the need to remove. Pick a seat - preferably one of the many with a table attached - and head for the bar in the back to stock up on soda, wine or beer, popcorn, hot dogs or candy. Settle in to enjoy one of the latest films, while the moon rises and seagulls and swallows swoop across the screen. For a special night out, watch “Mamma Mia”, the ABBA musical, and get swept up in the singing and dancing party that invariable breaks out at the first note. Even for non-ABBA fans, a fun and worthwhile evening, thanks to the lively atmosphere and the amazing cinematography featuring Skiathos in the staring role, which put the island on the map once and for all.

Cinema in the high st with no roof! Yes was good, sound was good, old chairs zip wired together. Little bar , one toilet per gender! In all a good night watching mama Mia.

What an experience. Truly delighted. If you want to get the ULTIMATE Mamma Mia experience, then take the Kalypso boat Mamma Mia tour, and then watch the movie here. You won't just watch the movie, it will be a complete show, where you will DANCE! Beautiful, amazing, lovely!

Where better than here to watch Mama Mia, fabulous atmosphere made even better by audience participation. Top tip Book in advance and turn up early for best seats.

What a fab experience! Watching Mamma Mia in an old cinema with no roof!! Would recommend getting your TUI rep to reserve you tickets in advance as seats get filled quickly as it's only a small theatre. The ticket booth opens at 7pm to pay and collect. Movie starts at 9.30pm. Warning: expect to have fun. The staff are amazing.
