Sun Thalassa Apartments - Paralia Folias

Excellent location, perfect clean, very friendly staff. Second time we're coming here and for sure we'll come again. Reccommended for families with kids.

Clean and modern apartments, all facilities you need. Great view, close to Nea Peramos and other lovely braches.

A wonderful place, very cosy, comfortable and well equipped. Large apartment, with everything you need. All the apartments have a great view of the sea. Very cool at night (there is AC but we didn't even need it, the fresh air of the sea was enough). The kitchen has a cooker, microwave, even an espresso machine with complimentary capsules for your breakfast. They have a laundry room with a washing machine and ready detergent (which is great for families with little children). Everything is new and well organized. It seems that the owner thought of everything a guest might need. Small gestures such as a bottle of cool water in the fridge on arrival and little jam jars from a local producer were really appreciated. Very clean, large bathroom and shower with a window (really appreciated). Other things I really liked were the wonderful olive trees in the garden, the fact that there is WiFi separately for each room and they have mosquito nets. The only negative aspects of the place have nothing to do with the apartments. They are rather far away from the beach (paralia Folias isn't easily accessible and you can't swim with kids there, it's very slippery). The closest beach that looks nice enough is Sarakina but it's a bit deep for little kids so we preferred Amolofoi (which is nice if you don't mind the driving). On the other hand, it was great for the social distancing that we needed what with the pandemic and all. The entrance to each apartment is separate and you don't really get to meet your neighbors much. All in all, a wonderful place! Highly recommended!

More than perfect for sea vacation.

We are enjoying every moment of our stay at Sun Thalassa! The views are great, the tranquility sublime, the olive trees scaterred around the property aren't bad either! Interacting with the host is great and efficient! We thank him for all he did to make our stay good and confortable! There are a few things to take into consideration: - the property is somewhat remote, so you do have to make some plans when going for groceries and stuff ( the nearest supermarket I found is in Nea Peramos); - there are many spots where one can go at the beach, the nearest is Paralia Folia; that being said, the Folia beach is goodish, because of the rocks it has when entering th water; -We found that the most publicised beach , Ammolofoi, is way too overcrowded, music is banging in your ears, sunbed near sunbed ( there's no such thing as social distancing at this beach)...it just was not for us! - Sarakina beach is nice, a bit more secluded, nice water ( i would say not for little children, although our four year old boy enjoyed it a lot, as there were some bigger waves); - Vrasida beach would be very nice if not for the scores of people going there ( in the weekends is terrible) and the road ( you will definetly damage some parts at the suspension of your car: dirt road with boulders, stones and cracks), but the water is wonderfull! The nearest resort town from Sun Thalassa is Nea Peramos! There you will find good restaurants, bakeries, shops and icecream shops! Also you can take a stroll along side the shore, where there's a really nice pedestrian walk! Kavala, the biggest city in the region is about 30 km away ( the road towards Kavala is magnific!). In conclusion, we had a really great stay at Sun Thalassa and would surely come back! A thing to point out, the price /quality ratio is great!! We stayed at a groundfloor standard apartment, which was well suited for our family of four. The terrace is magnificent!! The isolation is good ( at the end of July we didn't turn on the AC!!). We'll be back!

Great view and beautiful place to stay!

Amazing place for relax with amazing views! The hosts were very kind and helpful, the apartment was perfectly clean! We will definitely visit it again and highly recommend it!

Beautiful place! Everything is top notch! Awesome view, the rooms are as described, price is just excellent. Communication with the host is superb.
