Beautiful haven of peace ?

Nice place for retreats but far from the beach. Not much place for parking. Nice atmosphere. Good food.

So great to have been there. Beautiful place, lovely people and owner and many very nice classes yoga, Thai massage etc. Just a place to go, for sure.

Similar experience to Jana but in Basel, Switzerland. Overcrowed also, expensive, and I would add not pedagogical. I will not go back.

What bothered me that they are not transparent and honest about the accommodation, you won't see any photos of the bunk beds, in 1 room with eight people who all share 1 tiny bathroom. The payment is the same, they charge a lot, in my opinion, we had to send some portion of the money to the Portuguese bank account and were explicitly told to bring cash. I attended the Thai course massage, it was overcrowded, many times you were not able to see what the instructor was showing. With this money, you can travel to Thailand, join the course there and have a much better experience. Oh, if you point or express your opinion, I was told by Takis himself, out of the blue he came to me and said " Just be Quiet." ( no explanation). So that's how they deal with the problems, nice. They also keep telling us " this course is not enough, you have to come back, min 1 or 2 more". Really, why? Lastly, hygiene level was appalling, imagine washing your clothes with 50-60 other people's clothes, they also lost some of my clothing. We went to a trip, and there was no transportation, they told us to ask around who has a car and then beg that person to take you in ( plus pay it). I moved to Chaing Mai year after that, where I also worked at the University, in spare time I trained in several courses, I learned also facial massage, reflexology etc. 10000x better experience, this place is nor authentic or worth going.
