There is everything you need. The people are all very nice and helpful. The prices are also not much more expensive than in larger supermarkets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De eigenaresse spreekt goed Engels, is zeer behulpzaam. Ze heeft meer in haar winkeltje dan je vermoedt. Op mijn vraag of ze ook paraplu's verkocht gaf ze aan deze uit Ierapetra te laten meenemen en mocht het eerder regenen mocht ik die van haar lenen....
Haar zoon, de slager zit ernaast en verkoopt mooi vlees; meestal wel een onsje meer dan waar je om vraagt ;-)
The owner speaks English well, is very helpful. She has more in her shop than you suspect. When I asked if she also sold umbrellas, she indicated that she would take them from Ierapetra and if it rained earlier, I could borrow those from her ....
Her son, the butcher sits next to it and sells nice meat; usually an ounce more than what you ask for ;-)
