★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hardly a day goes by that I do not visit this supermarket. Here you can find almost everything, and, if they don't have it, they'll try to get it for you. There is a daily delivery of fresh vegetables during the high season. The choice and quality is superior to any other local store. Several nearby restaurants buy their vegetables from here.
There is also an impressive deli counter with a wide selection. Nearby, there is a good variety of nuts, berries and seeds which include chia, flax and kinoa There are products from all over Europe as well as some favourites for the local expats.
Petrakis provides for other dietary requirements so it's not that difficult to live gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan. There's vegan cheese, coconut milk, soy milk, almond milk to name but a few.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the store is open 7/7 from early until late reducing to 6/7 during the winter season.
Definitely my local store of choice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the typical local Greek shops in Paleochora. Prices are average, staff is nice and friendly. They also offer fresh local fruit and vegetables. Sometimes crowded and has only a little space, but overall it's fine.
