★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you ever wanted to have a home right at the beach, to fall asleep and wake up with sound of the waves, your wish just came true. Sweet Sand Citadel is literally 25 steps from the beach where you will find both sand and rocks, and your own free to use deckchairs and umbrellas. Sea is warm (26-27C in September, host says warm enough from May all the way into October) and extremely clean. If you want sand only beach, there's big one with many fine beach bars with great service and moderate prices just 2 minutes by car from SSC.
Place itself is very clean, functional and well equipped. Special kudos for the kitchen with fridge-freezer combo and modern stove. Surely, upper terrace is highlight of the place, and you will enjoy many hours just relaxing under the shadow of mulberry tree, watching sea and listening to the sound of the waves, having coffe, breakfast or dinner. Being away from city center, it's quiet and peaceful place. Next to the house there's nice green grass lawn, so the place is great for families with kids.
Our host Despina was very welcoming and she made us feel just like at home, living in a house next to SSC, always available if something's needed. We will surely come back again, and can warmly recommend it in the meantime.
