One of the most beautiful ad unspiled vilages we visited in tzoumerka and Zagoria. The road is breath taking and the vilage as authentic as can still be.

Syrrako is a village and a former community in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality North Tzoumerka, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 29.307 km2.It has a predominantly Aromanian population, and is located 52 km southeast of Ioannina at an altitude of 1200 m, on the mountain Peristeri. It is built on a steep slope and retains its traditional buildings.

Beautiful traditional mountain village at the Tzoumerka mountains. Good accomodation options, taverns with good traditional food and drinks, picturesque scenery with wild beauty. A hiking path also exists to the Kallarites village, through a beautiful gorge.

A well preserved place on the top of a huge rock. It's not easy to get there but you must be patient as it really worth visiting. Once you get there be aware that you need to park your car outside of the village as there are no streets for cars, only small paths which lead you to the centre of this little village ( approximately 1-2 km walking depending on which side you will park). I would suggest you to visit the place spring or summer time as during the winter it might be not possible because of the snow. A few cute and very welcoming houses to rent if you decide to stay there. Great atmosphere, amazing view and great walking paths in the forest. Overall a very peaceful place if relaxation is your main goal!!!!!

Quite a drive from Pramanta, a very quaint old village! We mingled with the locals and they mentioned that no one stays there in the winter. Most of the big houses are made to be Xenonas (hotel). the view is amazing!

Beautiful scenic village with unique architecture. The village's streets are out of pebbles made of local stone, cars or bikes do not go into the village, which makes it even more unique and wonderful to walk!!! The view from any part of the village is magnificent, definitely worth visiting during the winter months.
