★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To start off let me say that I am disappointed with my poor review. This is the first restaurant that opened in the old district of 'manavika' some 20 years ago which was then mostly derelict, its success lead to the regeneration of the whole area with many shops and restaurants subsequently opening. Unfortunately my last visit on a relative quiet Sunday afternoon was a big let down. Food was very bland, service was ok and prices were very high. Trikala has experienced a hike in tourism in recent years and if we want to remain competitive and attractive as a tourist destination we need to up our game, please consider this review as constructive criticism and hopefully this was a one off experience and not the norm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good portions, warm environment. The meat could be better it was not that juicy and it was overly cooked. I guess it was rush hour.
Recommended but not sure if its indeed the best tavern experience in town.
