Very near the main Laganas road , constant traffic noise including racing quad bikes up and down the strip. Seems to book groups of lads , never causing any trouble but noisy , drunk and being sick everywhere. Lots of wild dogs barking through the night . almost impossible to sun bathe around pool area because of flying football's hitting you, The traffic noise is deafening and worst of all the pollution is so bad it was choking . would never stay there again . There seemed to be a problem throughout the island ( zante) with litter .. it just does not get cleaned up , broken bottles , fast food containers all over the place , Has a beautiful harbour but you just wonder how much of the plastic bottles left around will end up in the sea.

All the staff were great and helpful. Nice place , quiet and close by to shops and bars. The rooms are cleaned daily. Good family athmosphere and food ,resonably priced. Very good breakfast ! In the evening there are plenty of activities at the restaurant near the pool. We recommend TASSIA STUDIOS. Flavia & Luis

Had the pleasure of staying with Kostas and his family at Tassia Studios this year from 4th to 11th September. We have stayed in Zante several times in the past at large all inclusive hotels but this year we decided to take the self catering option to enable us to explore some of the tantalizing local cuisine rather than generic tourist food. Looking through all of the options in our price range, Tassia clearly stood out as a great place to stay - Plenty of positive feedback online, great selection of research photos available on their website and spot on communication from Kostas (the owner) any time I emailed him any questions prior to my holiday. We arrived at Tassia on a pleasantly hot Sunday afternoon and we're greeted in the pool bar (which is also reception) by Kostas, Timothy & Dimitri - Check in was quick & efficient and within minutes we were sitting on the balcony of our first floor apartment (4A). We were really happy with the room as soon as we walked in. There was a kitchenette area, a bathroom/wetroom and then a spacious sleeping area with good solid furniture and plenty of hanging storage space. Our balcony overlooked the pool & bar which we enjoyed as it was a nice atmosphere to observe whilst still being able to relax privately. The room had glass doors as well as a set of ventilated shutters which were very useful. Air-con is available although we didn't use it as we enjoyed the warmth and Wi-Fi is available in the bar area. There are TV's in the room although they only show local programming so we weren't able to use the TV due to the language barrier. There is a big screen TV in the pool bar however and they show sports, MTV etc - Just ask. We ate here twice and the food was very good and a decent portion. We would have happily used the restaurant more but as I wrote earlier, we were here to try authentic Greek cuisine on this particular trip which involved us exploring various (non tourist) villages on the island. Timothy makes very good cocktails and during happy hour, you can get 2 for €6 which we thought was a very fair price, especially considering how strong they were as opposed to the watered down drink on the main strip. The pool bar and pool area are a nice place to relax with amazing views of the hills and mountains which surround the hotel. Proximity wise, it's a very short ride to the airport in a taxi - took us about 6 minutes which means you can relax a little more before leaving to go home. There are some really good local supermarkets and beer stores within a 10 minute walk or a little further away there is a decent Lidl store. Kostas also stocks various essentials at the hotel too so you have plenty of options. The main Laganas strip is far enough away not to disturb you if you want to relax but close enough if you want to walk it. We went every night and it took us around 30 minutes to walk to the bars and clubs. The beach is a little further but there are plenty of things to see and do along the way so the walk seems shorter than it really is. If you don't want to walk you can get a taxi anywhere in Laganas to any local destination for a blanket price of €6. There are pick-ups available from Tassia for all the local boat trips etc. which can be arranged either by the vendors along the strip or your Thomas Cook or Olympic rep. Kostas does a very good job of making the hotel feel very safe and he's always quick to deal with any issues that arise or give you advice and guidance about anything you may need to know to make your holiday better. Overall this was a fantastic holiday, great accommodation, good food and drink and a pleasant, safe and relaxing environment to enjoy it in. Will definitely return on our next trip!

We came to Tassia studios as a group of boys very much looking forward to our first lads holiday and we're very disappointed with our stay here. We were given a very lengthy set of harsh and unfair rules by the owner (Kostas) as soon as we arrived and were threatened about the potential consequences of breaking any rules. As you can imagine it put us off right away even before we had seen our rooms. We were also told of stories about former guests being thrown out and of accidents which had happened recently which made us very uncomfortable seeing as it was our first holiday away from our parents. Fortunately our fantastic Thomas Cook rep had a word with Kostas and the main staff about their manner in which they attempted to welcome us and they were a bit better with us from then on. The rooms were very basic but kept clean and with a cleaning service every day. We didn't spend much time in our hotel throughout our 2 weeks and instead went to our friends hotel to spend the day by the pool where their staff were very friendly and allowed us to stay for the day, unlike Kostas and the staff at Tassia. The safety of possessions were alright with safety deposit boxes available to buy but not kept in rooms. Moreover the owners also have keys in which they able to enter customers boxes which is off putting. The location of Tassia Studios is not ideal with regard to the strip as it is around a 40-50 minute walk. Fortunately taxi services are available and was cheap with €6 to go anywhere. Overall I would say Tassia is basic accommodation mainly for families and couples looking for a small quiet holiday but would definitely not recommend it to any groups of young people looking for a fun holiday of partying and time with friends. I believe our stay here was adequate but not overly satisfying. Will definitely not be staying here again and would not recommend it overall.

I travelled from the UK and stayed at Tassia as part of a package with Thomas Cook; it's a great base to explore the island, relax at the pool or close enough to go partying on the strip if that's what you want. I stayed here for a long weekend at the end of May for some R&R. Set on the outskirts of Laganas, it's about 3km or 1.9 miles to Laganas beach which takes about 25-30 minutes to walk. If you want a beach with lots of facilities then its a good choice. However, the beach is very popular and crowded so I recommend hiring a car and exploring the islands more remote, beautiful beaches Zakynthos has to offer...it's really worth it and you can hire a car with full insurance for around €25-30/day. Its a family run resort - they do it very well and are very friendly and accommodating. You have to appreciate that the official brochure rating is 2* accommodation and it's a good reflection as that's what you get. Everything for me was perfect; the rooms are clean, serviced daily and have everything you need; sink, fridge, kettle, toaster, hob, small TV. I was lucky enough to have a large terrace too. Kostas was very friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions to local places, supermarkets, restaurants and they also serve some delicious Greek food (they also have a selection of the usual English food). Each evening they have several events that take place (if thats your thing) for socialising with other guests at the bar, from showing sports on TV, karaoke, bingo etc. They have Wi-Fi available in the bar/pool area only. Overall I was very satisfied with my visit it was great from start to finish.

Stayed here for a week in the Summer and it was exactly what I was looking for from accommodation on the island. In a traditionally “party” area of the island the studios are sat right in the outskirts close to the hills, so it’s a great quiet place to base yourself with easy access to all the other areas around; it’s about a 25 minute leisurely walk to the beach. The apartments are spacious and clean, and the pool area well kept. If you want entertainment in an evening there’s always something happening and the owners are friendly and welcoming. The food is basic but served well, perfect for lunch during the day. Breakfast was included for me which worked well. Other guests were mainly older couples and a few families and lone travellers. They do a good job of firmly managing big groups (of which there was only one during my stay) which came across as a bit militant at first but it’s to protect the rest of the visitors which makes sense. There’s a daily charge for WiFi, which is only accessible from the pool area and immediately neighbouring apartments.

Simple apartments at really good prices. The staff here are also really friendly and welcome you as part of the family, and unlike most hotels, the owner ensures that any rule breakers, start to obey the rules or leave. Fantastic if you're there to enjoy your holiday, NOT at the expense of other guests! The hotel is about an hours stroll from the strip, far enough not to have to hear it, close enough to get a cheap taxi! Perfect place to go if you're looking for a good holiday on a budget!

Excellent value for the money with a very friendly staff. Rooms are clean, smells free, cleaning is performed daily. in the evening there are plenty of organised of activities at the restaurant by the pool. The management is friendly and they offer great deals on different activities on the island or on sea. As most of the family run business here, they will do their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
