★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We frequented this place a few years back. Decided to return and very happy we did. Food was tasty and excellent. Meat, both beef and pork were tender and juicy. Rare to find in Greece. Excellent salads, vegetables, French fries and wine. A very nice day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh boy, I really enjoy this place, it's hidden a little outside of Athens in a small quiet town, tables under trees and fireplace very cozy... food? It's a 10 great meats and huge portions great prices. I go on the weekends for it's amazing food and to get away from Athens and get some fresh air... enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From tzatziki and tyrokafteri to stakes, salads, potatoes, bread, everything is tadtefull and superb and served in super-sized portions. Staff is helpful and attentive and no matter the crowd they will serve you on time and with no mistakes. This taverna is a rather old fashioned one as far as style is concerned, but keeps all the good values of them : quality and very tasteful. All appetizers are home made and I would suggest to try as much as possible as they are all fresh. Tyropitari, hand made potatoes and loukaniko must be definitely tried. Beef stakes are perfectly cooked in medium so if you want them coocked more, just ask them to do it for you. Only negative is that we have been charged for €10+ for those huge slices of grilled bread for 10 people including 6 kids. Bread pricing should be normilised for good nowadays. Be proactive and book your table in advance specially during weekends as Galini is superb and a definite must try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big portions, reasonable prices polite staff and friendly environment. We have visited this place a lot of times and always left satisfied. Menu choices are limited but everything on the menu is well prepared and worth trying.
Overall it is worth the ride from Athens city ( aprox. 30’) to enjoy a lunch or dinner with family and/or friends.
