★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cozy garden, away from the busy main street road and very friendly staff. I liked the romance under old olive tress, traditional music in the background. Recommending the local white wine, in color of olive oil and fried cuchini chips. In Friday and weekeds might need a reservation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great family tavern with fresh local dishes, most of the ingredients from their own garden. The Cretan salad was amazing, with perfectly ripe tomatoes, the fish was always fresh and the octopus just perfect. Manolis, Pauline and Maria greet you with funny stories and a warm atmosphere. It feels like they are setting the table in their own home and inviting you over. Must try the local olives with Mythos beer as a starter :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anyone who cooks fresh meals regularly at home will know how dissapointing some restaurants can be. Well at Taverna Katerina this is not the case, you can enjoy superbly cooked meals and salads made with fresh local (much of it from their garden) produce. Self pressed olive oil...the best olive oil 'liquid gold'. Home made wines and self distilled raki...better than Grappa! Don't miss out on the 'daily dishes' they are always delicious. This is a family run Taverna with a beautiful garden at the back, with seating under fig and olive trees. If you have time work your way through the daily dishes and menu, a culinary journey! Take time to try the fresh fruit brought at the end of your meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to eat in Ferma! Delicious food for small money. So tasty. We really enjoyed our evening there in the garden between the olive and fig trees with some fresh fish,wine and Raki. They use many things from their own garden for cooking. You must taste it!
