★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The "Ταβέρνα Αύρα" is a really nice place where to eat well at Kalamata. During the summer season it is a very pretty and quiet place on the sea and the owner and his family are very kind and welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend this place. Low prices for great food. We ate mousaka, zucchini balls, greek salads and drank white home wine. Everything was very good, but the most delicious was zucchini balls. If you visit this place be sure to try them.
I reccomend to take a table at a restaurant instead of on the beach, because the tavern looks very nice.

Food is absolutely fantastic, service is very friendly and as its family taverna you feel the difference from the others restaurants in the area, spot is calm and peacefull.
I highly reccomend ❤️ Yannis and his family are the top of Kalamata
