★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places in Gortynia Central Peloponesse, 20 minutes from Vytina in the wonderful an picturesque village of Valtesiniko build in 1150 meters high, so rounded by trees. A family setting with local kitchen,. The building stands out with it's impressive stone made walls and a hospitable interior and service, with a fire place in the winter and a majestic wooden ceiling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed three nights in Valtessiniko and ate here all the time. The family made us feel really welcome and the food was excellent. The young chef, Panos, recommended local dishes and offered a variety of tasty vegetables which we didn't find elsewhere. We would highly recommend this taverna!
