one of the best burgers I ate !!! they have fresh local fish, I ate a good red mullet; prices are pretty high but it's a small fishermen island, what can you expect ? very good stuffed calamari ! the cheese filling is very good. an unexpected very good food experience.

Amazing greek taverna, right by the port. The menu had rich variety, many options for both meat and seafood. You should definitely try the zucchini balls and the eggplant salad-dip as starters! The stuffed and grilled kalamari was excellent. Remember to ask the waiter for fresh fish, which you actually get to choose yourself. Excellent service and friendly people.

Absolutely amazing place! I can not express how likable this place is. As the island is still recovering from depopulation, the amount of people here is rather low causing it to be abnormally calm. We arrived rather late at about 18:00 hours and had no trouble finding a good spot to moor the boat. We had a nice stroll around before having a great meal here. The waiter is a great guy with a great sense of humour. I recommend coming in late, as by this time it will be calmer and the staff will be more relaxed. I had som lamb with lemon sauce. I understood that this was a special today, but if you have the chance to taste this, I highly recommend it. The sauce was thick and rich in taste, and the meat was succulent and fell right off the bone. I also had a serving of calamari as an appetizer, though this is not on the menu. We even got to see the fresh squid being cut up. The staff were all happy, funny people whom we laughed a lot with. Once again, I cannot express how much I enjoyed this tavern. It was simply amazing.

Nice taverna in Kastos harbour. We tried the greek and the chef's salads, both were delicious. Unfortunately when we were there, they had no coffee :)

Wonderful friendly place. The food is nice but the people make the place. We arrived with our boat. Had great dinner there. We had bought some fresh tuna at sea from a fisherman and they were willing to fillet these for us and we good watch how to. The fillets were packed in ice so we could prepare it ourselves the next day. We stayed the whole morning on the terras for breakfast and coffee. Can highly recommend the homemade baklava.
