We had chicken and pork from the "streetgrill".
It has been grilled (slow grilled) in wood fire (not just char coal).
Its "dark" grilled, very tasty, best I ever had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good food and extremely friendly, really nice people. Diogenes is the fastest waiter of all of Crete! I liked it that also local people were also sitting there. Very good value for money. We loved the stuffed wine leaves, the eggplant bowls and the greek salad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing. Starters en potatoe from the house were nice but both main dishes were bad. Chicken and pork belly had been in the oven way too long so dry and overcooked. Left it almost untouched.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food! We had an appetizer - stuffed wine leaves and grilled feta, after which we tried chicken on spit and lamb on spit and everything was absolutely delicious. Wine and water along. Everything was 34.5 euros and at the end we had, on their behalf, watermelon and raki. This place got on my husband's list of memorable places to eat, and he has a quite short list :D

Super nice local tavern, run by the family, excellent food at very good price, the barbecue meat was delicious and so the local dishes. The staff was most friendly and warm.
A perfect evening.
