★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem - simple taverna serving traditional, fresh Greek food. Lovely and polite staff who speak just enough English. My favourite place to sit after a swim in the clear blue sea. Cannot fault them and will personally always be back year after year.
(They are following covid hygiene precautions, the waiter always wears a mask and hand sanitizer available. Reusable cloths as standard as well as wiping down surfaces before and after visits)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ended up not eating our food as it did not appear to be fresh. The bread was very dry, and the Tzatziki was drained in too much olive oil (usually we love olive oil of course;) ). The Moussaka that my girlfriend ordered must have been some days old or was heavily overcooked since it fell apart, just by looking at it.
The meat quality of my Souvlaki was not very good. It was chewy with much fat.
One additional thing was that the stray cats at the Taverna were very greedy and even jumping on our laps while we were eating, which was very annoying.
I want to emphasise that this is not a hate comment. Our bad perception of the place could be due to the fact that we visited this place outside of the main season and therefore it was not possible to freshly prepare the dishes.
