★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is by far one of the best tavernas I've ever visited. The food is exquisite and the staff goes above and beyond to offer a great service, family business are always the best. Very clean place and don't leave without trying local cuisine. We had the okra (hats off to the chef as this is Devine dish), the soutzoukakia (meatballs with tomato sauce) is a must. Chorta salad is sooooo tasty and goes perfect with the tzatziki and grilled sausage. We've also ordered pork, cheese balls and aubergine dip.. I can't stop praising this tavern. If you pass by Kastraki, underneath Meteora, just try the local food here. Highly recommended. Great prices too. We'll come back without a doubt. Thanks Efrosino for this magical food experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The feta in the Greek salad is very fresh. The olive oil they brought to the table without asking and it was fresh too. I had the chicken Souvlaki and it was great too, along with the rice. The patio had a nice breeze in the late afternoon and the shade from the tea made it perfect for a summer day after hiking. As usual, the customer service could be a little better, but it was typical for Greece. I would definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to Kastraki to visit Meteora monasteries. While strolling through the village we came across this restaurant and decided to have lunch. It looked very appealing.
It was a beautiful day so we could enjoy the view and fresh air while having lunch on the porch.
The service was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
As my wife loves vegetables, we saw a new salad option in the menu, which we didn't see previously in Greece during our travels (the Efrosino salad). We really enjoyed it. We also loved the vegetarian option of stuffed peppers and the traditional suflaky pork.
The price was reasonable and the experience was great.
Before leaving we received a complimentary slice of cake with a vanilla ice cream ball, which was very nice as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived there after a long hiking day. It was recommended by our taxi driver. The food was the best we had during our trip with a good price. We had a Greek salad, a moussaka and stuffed peppers. At the end, the waiter offered as the dessert: homemade cake with honey and ice-cream. We really recommend it.
