★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spend last 14 days in Greece, this was our last dinner (because of good reviews. Unfortunately worst one. We had mix grill, octopus, gyros, shrimps. Gyros And octopus was ok. Mix grill Is mostly sausage, not delicious but not tragedy. Shrimps were really bad, we told them that it was not Okay. No apologise, nothing (we could not eat it). We had receive cake on the house - cake was delicious. Taverna looks good, clean. Staff Is Okay, not rude not very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was quite the thunderstorm (and a power-out) when we visited this lovely town. Power was back about an hour later, but it was still raining, so we took a table inside.
This place is located just at the Pl. Vallianou, not far from the Lithostroto Walking Street.
The menu had some really interesting items...including goat stew. But we played it a bit safe and ordered fried calamari and stuffed veggies (bell pepper and tomato), some beer with that. Prices more than fair.
Both items were really good choices. The calamari nice, crispy...and fresh. Not the cheap frozen calamari rings you get in your supermarket. The stuffed veggies were great as well. Rice perfectly cooked, the veggies nice and juicy....full of flavours with these greek spices. Good stuff! They really can cook here. And the staff was really nice and friendly. After enjoying this meal so much, next time we WILL try the goat stew then. We'll be back.
